I needed this for my BSN course. I found it pretty insightful. I got the used version and it came in tact.
Poor writing, clumsy sentence structure, overutilization of conjunctions, and numerous sentences bordering on run-ons makes this book a displeasure to read. The material is not difficult to grasp, but the way the book is written makes studying more of a struggle than it needs to be. I only bought this book because I needed it for my class.For example, the last sentence in this Introduction section is a whopping nine lines long!
This book is for my Intro Nursing class and it is nothing but exceptional. It provides the foundation to my professional nursing career. It is extremely thorough giving a background on the history of nursing and how to advance the nursing field. Highly recommend
