This book is just great, great, great.I'm not going to spend too much time touting Toppi's incredible work. He was a genius of sequential art, image/page composition, line, figure, texture, pattern, etc. and puts his own unmistakable style to it all; a storyteller and illustrator par excellence.If you're reading this, chances are good that you already love his work and just need to buy this collection. On the off chance that you aren't familiar with Sergio Toppi, do you self a favor and buy this book.This book, as a book, is excellent. The image reproduction is superb, printed on large, thick, glossy pages, with hard covers. The graphic designer[s] did a fine job on the cover and front matter too. It's the sort of quality and attention to detail that this maestro deserves.Oh, and it's kind of inexpensive. You're paying something like $0.11 per page for high quality reproductions of Toppi's art... no brainier.I've already pre-ordered the next volume.I also own, read, reviewed, and recommend Sharaz-de and The Collector, released in English on the Archaia imprint a few years back. Those are the only other English language Toppi releases that I am aware of at this time.
Fantastic art and it has several stories to boot! This is an excellent book to have as part of your art book collection. Very glad I bought it!

I love this book! The art of master Sergio Toppi is fantastic and the quality of the book's production is top notch. If you're a fan of comics and art in general, do yourself a favor and add this book to your collection. :) I'm looking forward for the next volumes.
